DIY Fitness Dice (Skip & Scoot)
What you need: one or two dice, paper, scissors, pen/pencil, bowl.
How to play: Cut up the paper into small squares and write you and your child’s favorite exercises on them. (e.g. jumping jacks, burpees, plank shoulder taps, mountain climbers, bicycle legs, crab kicks, or whatever you can imagine!) Then, take turns rolling the dice and picking a square out of a bowl. (eg. if you roll a 5 and pick a card that says jumping jacks, do 5 jumping jacks all together as a group) Keep adding more and different exercises each day!

Imagination Vacation (Skip & Scoot)
What you need: Nothing!
How to play: Lie down on a rug or carpet with a few other people. I prefer to play in a circle with our heads close together at the center of the circle and our feet at the periphery, so we can all hear each other well. Put your feet up in the air and begin your journey together by choosing someone to start the imagination vacation. “Today, we decided to bicycle to the beach.” (Everyone does bicycle legs) Then, the next person in the circle continues the story. “When we were at the beach, we jumped in the water and went swimming super fast.” (Everyone does flutter kicks with their legs.) You can make the story super silly, serious, dramatic, or anything you like! Maybe your group sees a big thunderstorm coming, so you run away from the beach, maybe you encounter a shark and make big snapping shark jaws with your legs. Whichever way the story goes, let your legs go with it by doing inventive movements. You can do the same game standing and only using your upper body or doing full body movements if you have the space.

Aerobics Your Way (Skip & Scoot)
What you need: Nothing!
How to Play: Tell each person that they will have 5 minutes to create a movement sequence of their very own. Any exercise, dance, or pose will work! After the 5 minutes, let each child/player be the teacher and teach the other people their sequences. Partner up if you have small children! You can get really creative and put your sequence to music if you want!
